STEEL, ALUMINUM, TIN

ACCEPTABLE STEEL, ALUMINUM, TIN

  • steel/tin cans (rinsed and labels removed)
  • cut out top/bottom & flatten
  • aluminum cans (emptied)

NOT ACCEPTABLE STEEL, ALUMINUM, TIN

  • cardboard cans
  • metalized-look plastics
  • aerosol cans, wire strapping

GLASS

ACCEPTABLE GLASS

  • clear, brown, green, and blue glass bottles (empty and sorted) Example: bottles – soda, juice, beer
  • labels need not be removed
  • clear and brown glass food containers (rinsed clean and sorted)

NOT ACCEPTABLE GLASS

  • ceramic dishes / clay pots
  • lightbulbs
  • window panes, mirrors
  • drinking glasses, crystal
